My ex-colleague (*) came back to Japan from their Taipei branch after 5 years' absence and will join his family company. We, six members including me, got together and had a long talk from 1:30PM to 6PM. It's been a while since I left my first company though, we sometimes met and could laugh about each people's funny stories this time just like it used to be.
(*) Technically we joined the company at the same year and worked in different departments.
We had a nice lunch at the brewery below and then move to a bar with wood deck. There was a nice, gentle breeze blowing. Finally my ex-coworker took a bullet train to Nagoya. We promised to get together sometime soon.

AXN Double Japan Premiere at Roppongi Hills - FLASHFORWARD and LOST
I went to AXN Double Japan Premiere at Roppongi Hills at THEATER 7 of TOHO CINEMAS Roppongi Hills with my ex-colleague. (My wife could not make is because she had to take care of our baby girl. Thank you for your understanding!) We enjoyed the episode 1 of FLASHFORWARD and the episode 1 of the final season of LOST.
Zachary Knighton and Yuko Takeuchi came to the premiere to promote FLASHFORWARD. On top of that, we watched a video message by Hiroyuki Sanada, a famous Japanese actor who appears on the final season of LOST.
My ex-colleague did not watch at LOST, but he said he will start watching it after the premiere.
I am one of the around 300 winners; One winner gets one ticket for two persons, and capacity of the theater is 644. Chris Peppler, MC of the premiere, told us that there were around 28,000 applications.
300/28,000 = 1.1%
How lucky I was. I hope I have not run out of luck in 2010 yet:-)

Surfing on April 11, 2010
It was warm recently, and I assumed that water is also warm today. Yes, it was. Forecasted temperature was 21⁄10 (highest/lowest) centigrade. I arrived at the beach around 7:10AM and enjoyed surfing from 7:25AM to 9:05AM. Water was not cold, I got used to it and felt just right.

Cherry Blossom at Yatoike (pond)
After the surfing, I carried my baby girl in front of me (BabyBjörn's Baby Carrier!) and went to Yatoike with my wife. Cheery blossoms bloom and are so pretty this time of year. Cheery blossoms embody spring in Japan. It reminds me of entrance ceremony and graduation ceremony back in my school days. Spring gives me a fresh start--spring is the best season to begin with something.

Surfing on April 3, 2010
It was windless and cloudy, fine later. Temperature was 15⁄7 (highest/lowest) centigrade. I arrived at the beach around 9AM and enjoyed surfing from 9:20AM to 10:40AM. Water was still cold, but once I started riding on a surfboard, I almost forgot it. It was really relaxing!
