Waves were very small but I am going to go to Hawaii with my family tomorrow and will enjoy surfing at Waikiki; so it's not a big deal. Forecasted temperature was 24 centigrade at 6 o'clock. I arrived at the beach around 5:55AM and enjoyed surfing from 6:10AM to 7:50AM.
Wetsuit, seagull (Given water temperature, rashguard + shorts could be okay.)
